La Verne Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Congratulations to La Verne Shop Owner Mark: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On behalf of the whole company, Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique corporate headquarters wants to extend well-deserved congratulations to Mark Levy! Last month on the evening of February 15th Mark cut the ribbons officially marking the opening transition of Pet Palace Salon into a Splash and Dash franchise.

“I felt quite honored to be recognized in this way,” Mark tells us.  The ceremony, conducted by San Dimas Chamber of Commerce, accolades Mark’s ten years doing business in La Verne, CA. During Mark’s time working at his shop, he was been awarded New Business of the Year, Most Innovations in Marketing, Ambassador of the Year, twice, First Annual Spirit of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Business of the Year!

Around 100 people were in attendance including La Verne Magazine. Dignitaries from local councilpersons, state and federal representatives, and of course Mark’s Splash and Dash family all attended to watch the ribbon get snipped.

Mr. Levy has been an integral member of the many prospects he is part of. A Pasadena native, he graduated from UCLA with a BA in Journalism and continued his education with Master’s work in Educational Psychology at Wayne State University. During the Vietnam War, Mark served in Armed Forces Radio as a Disc Jockey and Television in Italy spreading his characteristic cheer.

Mark continues to bring his fun-loving personality to his community by performing at the theater productions throughout the year.

In 2007, Mark and his now wife Kathleen obtained Pet Palace Salon and changed the failing dog groomerie into a thriving local business. The shop owner was able to do this with the support of local patrons, his amazing staff, and La Verne Chamber of commerce all of whom Mark shares a familial kindred.

We leave you with his words, “Palace Pet Salon, where everyone is treated like royalty and A cold nose is treated with a warm heart!.” Going forward as one of Splash and Dash’s Groomerie and Boutique’s newest shop, he encourages everyone to, “PLAY DIRTY. LIVE CLEAN!”
